Putting Green Questions
How much room do I need for a backyard putting green?
Less than most people think. A compact green of 100-300 sq ft fits one or two cups and still gives you real breaks to read. If you have the space, we can stretch it into a multi-hole layout with fringe and a chipping area.
How much does a putting green cost in Phoenix?
Size drives most of the price, followed by the number of cups, how much contour you want, and whether we're also installing the lawn around it. We measure and design it during a free consultation, so the number you get is for your yard, not a guess.
Does a putting green get too hot in the Phoenix sun?
On a July afternoon, yes, any synthetic surface in full sun is warm. Most Phoenix golfers putt in the morning or evening anyway. If you want to use it midday, place it where the house or a patio cover throws afternoon shade.
Can the putting green tie into an artificial turf lawn?
